Harrison’s patient navigator services
We know the challenges that come with cancer, and we know you need solutions. At times you might find it difficult to know what to do or how to get help. With Harrison, you don’t have to face this alone. We’re here to make it easier for you.
Our compassionate patient navigators guide you through the cancer journey. They offer support and solutions for you, your family, and your caregivers. We help you at all times—whether just diagnosed, in treatment, or a long-term survivor. They are your healthcare advocates as you work your way through many cancer-related services. You’ll find our patient navigators to be exceptional problem solvers, coordinators, and teachers.
Similar to all that Harrison offers, our patient navigators tailor services to meet your needs. Here’s what our patient navigators can do for you and your family:

Cancer care education
Harrison offers free cancer information sessions for you and your family. Our patient navigators created this program to help you take charge of your health. We welcome caregivers and other community members as well. Session teachers include:
- Cancer experts
- Cancer researchers
- Patient navigators
Many people use these helpful sessions as opportunities to network with other cancer survivors. We also teach about a different cancer almost every month. Topics vary and include:
- Managing fatigue
- Living with cancer
- Cooking and nutrition
- Helping children cope
- Cancer detection
- Coping with the holidays
Exercise for patients experiencing cancer
Our patient navigators also teach free exercise classes in North Kitsap:
Surviving Strong: A therapeutic exercise and movement program that will help you thrive during cancer care. This class can help you improve range-of-motion, balance, strength, and endurance.
Therapeutic Yoga: This introductory level Hatha Yoga class can rejuvenate your body during and after cancer treatments through physical postures, breathing exercises, and relaxation.
